Yeah, not sure what's up with that,but it happens with my models from time to time.

It can happen if you glue them with cyanoacrylic glues. Use white glue and you won't have that problem.

Very nice build BUT there's no such thing as a '56 Del Ray. The Del Ray didn't come out until '58. Chevy in '56 were the 150, the 210 and the Bel Air

It was what was on the box. I think you may be thinking of the Impala.

Excuse me, but I was not being smug about it. My info source was the 3rd Edition of the Standard Catalog of American Cars 1946-1975 and 50 years of driving. That being said I will now admit I was WRONG. The Del Ray seems to have been a trim package within the 210 series. It provided carpeting and all vinyl upholstery in place of the rubber floor mats and vinyl/cloth seats.
