Lovefordgalaxie Posted February 7, 2014 Author Posted February 7, 2014 Thanks guys!!! Loved the feedback!!! About the time I take to build, well, I have no idea why, but I like to build fast. I almost never ad any extra detail, and building box stock is faster. That is a VERY, very nice build. Super clean and after studying all the photos I find only one tiny critique. And that is the wiper placement. They actually are designed to park themselves against the trim so they will be totally out of the way. Nearly hidden actually. Is that '57 Ford wearing a '58 hood? That's cool!! yes I agree with you on the wipers. I mounted them like that to hide the fact they are way too short. I guess I just traded one short coming with another. I found out that the AMT wipers from the Edsel kit are the correct length, but I have none at the moment.
Joker Posted February 7, 2014 Posted February 7, 2014 Stunning Thanks for sharing the build thread too.
lordairgtar Posted February 7, 2014 Posted February 7, 2014 Very nice work. Any chance of you doing Fords for Brazilian market?
Lunajammer Posted February 7, 2014 Posted February 7, 2014 (edited) Super! This is the money shot. I love the way the light falls across the car and highlights the character lines. This is the color that specifically influenced the color of my motorcycle. Edited February 7, 2014 by Lunajammer
Lovefordgalaxie Posted February 7, 2014 Author Posted February 7, 2014 Very nice work. Any chance of you doing Fords for Brazilian market? Do you mean specific built cars? Really hard to find kits for some, and impossible for others, except for the Maverick. Our Galaxies were all four door sedans, so I would need to convert a AMT '66 to make a Brazilian Galaxie. There are kits of the early Escorts but none of the Corcel and Corcel II. Like until 1966 our Ford were imported in parts from the U.S. and put together here, this '57 is what you could see at the streets here.

PappyD340 Posted February 8, 2014 Posted February 8, 2014 Tulio, you have done it again my friend, you have created another beauty, love the color, it's very well done!!
OldTimer50707 Posted February 8, 2014 Posted February 8, 2014 That is an excellent Ford. Very clean build.
PARTS GUY Posted February 8, 2014 Posted February 8, 2014 Very nice. Like the detail of colors under the hood, very correct.
W-409 Posted February 8, 2014 Posted February 8, 2014 No one builds better Factory Stock Fords than you do. Excellent work as always. That paint job is looking beautiful and I like the color choice a lot. Very nice build.
wrecker388 Posted February 8, 2014 Posted February 8, 2014 Are you trying to build one of these for every year the car didn't exist? You ought a be about there by now. Looks beautiful as always, Tulio.
Ramcharger Posted February 9, 2014 Posted February 9, 2014 Excellent! Very well done, this is a great kit with lots of building possibilities. The color really sets it off.
Lovefordgalaxie Posted February 9, 2014 Author Posted February 9, 2014 Thanks guys!!! I'm toying with the idea of building one in each color that was on the Ford chart for 1957... Don't know for sure yet. I already have Raven Black and Coral Sand!!! I have some Gunmetal Gray pint somewhere i'm pretty sure... 1957 Ford Colors by Lovefordgalaxie, on Flickr
wisco8 Posted February 10, 2014 Posted February 10, 2014 Hi Túlio. That really is beautiful to look at!! Super excellent paint work and details, thank you for posting. Steve
Speedfreak Posted February 10, 2014 Posted February 10, 2014 Tulio, the Ford looks great, really awsome, good enough to eat if I ate cars. The thing I found the most interesting was the way the window/windshield glass looks, it looks real. Did you use future on the windows? All round great build Tulio.

I just polish the glass with car wax before installing it on the body.
