I have offered help, my knowledge and other resources time after time on this topic in response to questions, etc. here, but I do not ever receive any acknowledgment that I can send someone anything, or that I have answered their questions. I'm done with this topic, and those who do not answer responses to the questions and requests they initiated should be ashamed of themselves.

No need to be confuseded. I think what Skip is saying is that he takes the time to answer someones question and never gets so much as thank you. It's just a basic courtesy issue and I agree. I'm sure I'll be corrected rather swiftly if I am wrong here.

I dunno Skip, maybe they're intimidated by your picture!

I know what you mean though. When you go to the trouble of sending someone parts they need for free (and postage for the smallest thing is around $2 these days) and you don't even know if they even got them.

Ron you are spot on from the way I read it.

We all need a reality check now and then.

Skip if it was me , a huge I am sorry.

I have only sent parts, but have asked for info.

It sounds like someone woke up on the wrong side of the workbench this morning!!:lol:

I guess I must be in a minority here, but while it is nice to at least maybe get an "OK" or "Thanks" as a reply, I take pleasure in just knowing I helped someone out. Of course though, and maybe because I don't make myself sound or come off like a donkey when I'm trying to be helpful, 99.9% of the time I either get a reply or a PM thanking me for the help.

I have been on both ends. I have received parts and forgot to let them know I received them but I do thank anyone who helps me in pms and in thread. When I send someone a part I don't worry if I get a thank you or not when they received. I once got a pm because they didn't get the part fast enough now that is rude.
