W-409 Posted February 12, 2014 Posted February 12, 2014 Yep, the Roll Bar Padding is easy to make from Tamiya's masking tape. Just paint it black. I did just that on my Ford Torino Stock Eliminator (That is still in progress.....). Roll cage is pretty simple to build from styrene tubing. Though it's not that simple to get all correct measurements and stuff like that, but once those are done, it's easier to actually build the cage. When you're bending the tube, heat it very carefully with a candle so lightly that it won't melt. Here is a completely scratchbuilt cage for my '69 Torino Talladega:
vypurr59 Posted February 12, 2014 Posted February 12, 2014 Liquid electrical tape, can be found at Radio Shack, Harbor Freight. Also Plier handle dip.
