Chris White Posted February 16, 2014 Posted February 16, 2014 This kit was a bit of a challenge. I bought it from e-bay (before the shipping went through the roof). The kit was covered in flash, almost through it out, it was that bad. Too top that, nothing really fit, almost everything was custom fit, took allot of mock up, to make it look right. I would like to thank, Mike Deluco for the sleeves and tires, e-bay for the resin salt flat wheel centers, Pegasus for the brake calipers and rotors. I airbrushed Vallejo Air Black, which is covered with three coats of their gloss varnish. Tamiya Red is on the frame motor, seats and dash. Afew splashes of BMF, and some parts box decals top it off. All comments are welcomed. Thanks for lookin.
Dave42 Posted February 16, 2014 Posted February 16, 2014 Looks great. I too built a 53 flip nose and agree, it was not an easy build. Yours turned out very well. I love the wood work in the bed and the wheels in particular. Nice work!
slusher Posted February 16, 2014 Posted February 16, 2014 Great looking truck Chris. love the decals and wheels...

Chris White Posted February 27, 2014 Author Posted February 27, 2014 Thanks Jesse, it was a pain, usually I am sad to see one done, I felt relieved when this one was over.
bigbluesd Posted March 5, 2014 Posted March 5, 2014 Beautiful... Where did you get the stool? One of those would look sharp in my model/music cave!
Chris White Posted March 5, 2014 Author Posted March 5, 2014 Thanks, I got the stool from Steve's Music Store, they had an on-line auction, got it cheap (like $10)
