microboyca Posted February 24, 2014 Author Posted February 24, 2014 Thanks Ron,give it a go on your own version. Here is a little more progress of mine, applied the decals and then some thin coats of clear to seal them up.Just have to put the windows in once the clear has cured some more. Thanks for looking. Cheers, Ron.
AZ Boy Posted February 24, 2014 Posted February 24, 2014 Very cool, Ron! I'm with Ron L. on this one...your decal choices are spot-on. Great job!
microboyca Posted February 25, 2014 Author Posted February 25, 2014 Thanks Aaron,For the compliments.I am calling this one finished, check the Under Glass section for pics.Im happy the way this turned out and thanks for looking. Cheers, Ron.
chippmunk53 Posted March 10, 2014 Posted March 10, 2014 As I was reading down the discussions about decaling, you mentioned trying to find gold leaf old-style lettering. It occurred to me that there are letters and numbers in gold on the decal sheet in the Trumpeter ALF Eagle Pumper Fire truck. But then I scrolled down further, and saw the decals you used... It works for me. And I think it looks better than the gold would have looked!
