o-man Posted February 23, 2014 Posted February 23, 2014 Just finished work on this old Revell kit. To resemble this 1:1. Interior painted Satin and flat black with wood accents. Engine probably isn't the correct color, but I don't have many Mopars in the stash. Chassis. BMF on tailpipes. Body polished out nicely and did my first full BMF trim. Tried to polish out scratches in glass but too many years spent rattling around in box. Also, kit was missing a head light lens.
o-man Posted February 23, 2014 Author Posted February 23, 2014 More pictures... Had some white residue come off with decals. managed to get most of it off. The mirrors are the same color as the car, but in pics they appear a lot brighter. Thanks for looking and comments and constructive criticisms welcomed.
Helix Posted February 23, 2014 Posted February 23, 2014 Good job Oscar, always wondered how this kit looked in that moulded colour
Mike 1017 Posted February 23, 2014 Posted February 23, 2014 Love that color. I thought it was paint Very nice job.
jaydar Posted February 23, 2014 Posted February 23, 2014 I have the same kit on the bench now. I hope it comes out as well! Joe.
slusher Posted February 23, 2014 Posted February 23, 2014 Super sharp build Oscar and nice foil. Well done...
tbill Posted February 24, 2014 Posted February 24, 2014 looks great O. those old decals are tough, my 66 elco decals silvered something awful, future helped some, but still don't look right. car looks sweet, nice build.
CaptainAhab Posted February 24, 2014 Posted February 24, 2014 I was curious about this kit. Very cool, nice build
Scuderia Posted February 25, 2014 Posted February 25, 2014 I never tire of seeing this kit built, and you did great
