Yes sir, that is one of the greats. Seems like with that much visual cool, it would have been kitted by one of the biggies, but then again, it's somewhat obscure (only old fossils like us and vintage race-car aficionados would buy it, right?).

Boy, you got that right ! I search ebay for one all the time. 1/43 resin ones seem to go for 60 or more. I saw the resin kit go for well over 150.00. The slot car ones are out of sight. There is a resin body only on ebay from time to time that is reasonable but I don't have the skills to make it into a decent model. I would love it if someone would come out with one. I bet they would sell very well.

Historic Racing Miniatures has a very nice resin kit. At $175 I wouldn't call it cheap but it is a complete kit; body, chassis, suspension, engine, everything. It builds into a beautiful model.

It's nice but out of my price range . Modelhaus has a nice curbside for $60 which is what I'll probably end up buying .

I just bought this junkyard on the bay because of what's in the upper right corner . I'm hoping it's a Cox body that's been cut and is still repairable !

I`d buy one in a heartbeat. I never used to like the looks of the Cheetah but in the past few years I `ve come to like it a lot, much more than a Cobra in fact. Its got such an in your face look to it.

I'd love to build one just because the styling is so crazy different. This should have been kitted back in the 60's-70's when it was more well known and when racing was big with kids/modelers at that time. I honestly don't see this kit being produced anytime soon by revell or round2. I would love to see a kit of it,but if you were to go to a room full of a car guys of all ages I'm sure that you would have more that don't know the car versus those that do. It should have been kitted in it's prime but has been forgotten and swallowed by the depths of time. :(

Funny, last week I was looking for a Cheetah kit on-line, nada , except for the HRM kit that JC mentions. Hard to believe no one ever kitted this car back in the day. Thanks for the thread Greg, what a great car.

This would have sales appeal both here and over seas! It's a Sports/Race car!!

This is more user friendly to motorsports fans vs. another american street car!

Somebody please make a kit of it!!!

Good from a modeling standpoint but a terrible 1:1 idea. About 200 pounds more than a 377SBC and 100 more than a427BBC.

These are a real 'death ride'-moreso than a Cobra even. Blazing heat, deafening inside, and snap rolls like an aerobatic champ. You needed big ones to get decent and consistent lap times out of it.

Yeah, especially from this one in the cutaway since it is set up for Drag Racing!

Here is the HRM kit. It's not too hard to see why it cost a little more. If Model Factory Hiro made this kit who knows what they would charge for it.
