Charlie, I knew some single girls once that religion was their hobby and last I remember those ladies are still single and I am a Christian guy. I would have stayed single if those girls was all that was left...

Nice to know I'm not alone...

I should elaborate though. She collected religious stuff- rosary/prayer beads, statues, Buddhas, Bibles and other religious books. An interesting pastime. She was also somewhat religious herself, as she planned on joining the Episcopal diaconate.

I also dated a Jewish girl with similar tendencies.

It really does take all kinds.

My GF/Wifey collects angel figurines. It's relatively cheap as we get them at yard sales. The house is being over run by them and the model cars have staged a defensive posture against all the little figurines. I may have to build some armor/military kits to give the cars the advantage. Honestly though, she likes just being with me and doing things I do like going to car shows, helping me DJ and cooking stuff from scratch. I have not seen a boxed food for years. Even the pancakes are made from scratch. She makes home made bread, marinari sauce , pizza sauce and pizza dough, granola bars, smoothies...et

Aww now thats very nice a model to follow, I hope you enjoy each others company for years to follow :)

Just family type photo's or of stuff like the outdoors ?

little bit of everything all depends upon where we are at or what we are doing like vacation, or just a day at the beach, or park etc.

My wife likes to garden. We use everything from th garden. And she's really smart about it too. We live in the city, so I call it a Herban Garden.

She's one hell of a cook, too.

She cross-stiches, quilts, sews, crafts(makes centerpieces and bouquets for weddings), is learning to play bass guitar and loves World of Warcraft.

Honestly, I go to Hobby Lobby more often to pick up stuff for her, not me! She also has her own set of tools and is restoring her 1973 VW Super Beetle, which I get to supervise.

And she collects Barbie's. I'm talking the limited edition, dammit-that's-expensive-for-a-doll, Barbies.

Then, compared to my hobbies, (3 cars to mod and maintain, record in my studio, and play goalie in ice hockey) I think we're on even ground.

My wife used to build models before we had kids. She hasn't built anything since then, but she will still buy a kit here and there if it's something that catches her interest.

Now, she writes (science fiction, fantasy, romance and combinations of all three), draws and occasionally paints. I have one of her paintings and one of her sketches hanging near my workbench.

She recently picked up a wooden dollhouse kit, but hasn't started on it yet as she is currently recovering from surgery. While she recovers, she's been looking for ideas on finishing techniques.

My wife is a great gardener!!! She loves taking seeds and watching them grow to plants and flower.

If you have a Lowe's near you, they usually have a clearance section where they take plants that may need some TLC and mark them WAYYYYY down. She has gotten some great plants that look great at the time at next to nothing.I don't know about Home Depot, but they probably do also.
