kat_poops Posted March 19, 2014 Posted March 19, 2014 This is my first build from a very long break in scale models. I love to build models when I was in my early teens, but then girls and 1:1 cars took over. 25 years later I have a little extra time between work and returning to school for a complete career change. It was a really fun build, this was my first large scale build and am pretty pleased how it came out, besides some of the flaws I had made with the finishing.
PappyD340 Posted March 19, 2014 Posted March 19, 2014 FANTASTIC job Jesse your Mustang looks great, BTW been there and done that on both aspects of returning to modeling and a complete career change looks like you have the modeling down to a science hang in there with your schooling for the career change I had to do the same thing at 55, you can do it too!!
vwdave92 Posted March 20, 2014 Posted March 20, 2014 looks nice. I really want to build one of these but I doubt I could avoid over detailing it which would turn it into a two year project. On the job change note… yup… just stay after it. I've done it twice now and just changed again about 6 months ago without warning… yikes… it's all meant to happen
gotnitro Posted March 25, 2014 Posted March 25, 2014 That's really nice! I've been eye-balling this kit; haven't tried a large scale yet, I need to bite the bullet and give it a shot
jimfowlernewhazeltonbc Posted August 19, 2014 Posted August 19, 2014 Looks great!! I built this model last year and like it so much I got another I will do one day. I thought for the 65 bucks I paid it is a awsome engine and all round great model.
