rustybill1960 Posted April 27, 2014 Posted April 27, 2014 Hey Ron I would like to ask a question, please, Why make the blower bigger? This is looking good. Thank You for sharing Later Russ
John Pol Posted April 27, 2014 Posted April 27, 2014 Looking good so far what did you use for seat belt material?
am73grand Posted April 27, 2014 Author Posted April 27, 2014 Hey Ron I would like to ask a question, please, Why make the blower bigger? This is looking good. Thank You for sharing Later Russ Russ, the current pro-mod cars use a "Superman" blower. It has a longer case and is set back on the intake. I was trying to replicate that style.
am73grand Posted April 27, 2014 Author Posted April 27, 2014 (edited) Looking good so far what did you use for seat belt material? I used a set I got at my local hobby shop. I think the set was from Model Car Garage. It came with self adhesive belts and the hardware. Edited April 28, 2014 by am73grand
am73grand Posted April 28, 2014 Author Posted April 28, 2014 Got some more work done on this today. The blower belt is installed as is the front suspension. And here is how it looks sitting on the tires: Thanks for looking!!!

MADDOG Posted May 2, 2014 Posted May 2, 2014 Just AWESOME!!!! Can not wait to see some more pics. You have motivated me to get back on the bench tonight.
am73grand Posted May 3, 2014 Author Posted May 3, 2014 First off I want to say thank you for all the kind comments on my build. You guys make it easy to keep my projects going. This week I got the injector hat painted and installed, I also started detailing it with the butterflies and brackets, also notice the "RAM AIR" decals. I also got the fuel tank installed. I tried something new with the front springs but I'm not 100% sure I'm happy with how they turned out. I got it painted as well. I cannot take credit for the paint design. Sean Svendsen built a pro-touring Ventura a few years ago with this scheme. I liked it so much that I wanted my own version. Hence this build. It still needs clear cote. All the trim will be flat or semi-gloss black. I'm hoping to finish the plumbing this weekend. Thanks for looking!!!!
futurattraction Posted May 3, 2014 Posted May 3, 2014 That color looks great on it, Ron... Looks really sharp.
