58 Impala Posted March 26, 2014 Posted March 26, 2014 (edited) Charlie, it came out great! Another exceptional build. Are you bringing it to the next club meeting so we can see the finished product in person? Oh by the way, finally got some blue paint on the 41.(to quote Andy,"sound the trumpets, release the pigeons!") Lol. Going to try and clear it this weekend. Edited March 26, 2014 by 58 Impala
Dyno Davo Posted March 26, 2014 Posted March 26, 2014 Super neat Charlie, best example I've seen. As usual impeccable details.
Pro Tech Posted March 26, 2014 Author Posted March 26, 2014 Thanks guys, appreciate the comments . Bill, no, those decals are not in the kit. They are available from Chuck Boerner. I think he's a member here. Tom, I will bring it and see ya at the meeting. Charlie Pro Tech
Davewilly Posted March 26, 2014 Posted March 26, 2014 It finished off very nicely...now I will have to get the kit..lol I been wanting it but now seeing one finished off I really want it
Ramcharger Posted March 26, 2014 Posted March 26, 2014 Very clean and well executed build, well done! I like the fact you did the later car rather than the PL 69-70 kit.
Silver Foxx Posted March 27, 2014 Posted March 27, 2014 A top class build , real nice , lots of great detail .
D. Battista Posted March 29, 2014 Posted March 29, 2014 A top class build , real nice , lots of great detail . Yeah...what he said..! Great Job !
captainbowtie Posted March 30, 2014 Posted March 30, 2014 Never knew that Duddie Ford sponsored a funny car. And I noticed a Linbland decal also. Both from Massachusetts thought Tommy was from down south some where. I grew up in Marlboro, a couple towns away from Westboro where Duddie was located. It was next to the famous and gone (but not forgotten) Westboro Speedway. Very nice build. All your models are super clean glad you posted it.
W-409 Posted March 31, 2014 Posted March 31, 2014 Super Nice Funny Car as always from your bench, Charlie. Your work is fantastic in every way... Smooth and Shiny paint, flawless detailing and I also like the use of different shades of silver on that engine. It makes the engine look much more realistic than if everything was painted with the same shade of silver as I do. Your products are top notch, too.
TedsModeling Posted April 9, 2014 Posted April 9, 2014 Nicely done, Charlie! Another one to be proud of. How about a photo of your models as you have this displayed at home? A lineup could look like a crackelfest...
