D. Battista Posted March 26, 2014 Posted March 26, 2014 Hi everyone... More old stuff...This is Revell's 1999 issue.. I lowered the rear suspension, used the wheels from AMT's Studebaker Avanti kit, parts box tires, Shabo dry transfer white letters on the rear tires, hand painted the fronts. I used the engine from Revell's '70 Chevelle 454..cause I thought the engine that came in the kit looked too small... Flocked the interior, fabricated a on the dash tach from a distributor. White automotive touch up paint from a rattle can. Hand masked flame graphics done with auto paint as well, de-canted and sprayed through an airbrush. Thank you for looking...

D. Battista Posted March 27, 2014 Author Posted March 27, 2014 Thats cool what was the original car Ive not seen one of these before? Yes Dave, It's a Tom Daniel design, Street Fighter two - Bad News - Quick Silver - and Bad Actor were some of the issues Revell did.

Jantrix Posted March 27, 2014 Posted March 27, 2014 Very nice! I have a Bad News version with the clear red roof, still trying to figure out what to do with it.
mnwildpunk Posted March 27, 2014 Posted March 27, 2014 Awesome job on this kit. Do you have any shots of the interior before you put the body on? Id like to see the tach you made
Greg Myers Posted March 27, 2014 Posted March 27, 2014 (edited) Just when you thought a kit couldn't be built in any way respectable. and Dave shows us the way. Very nice, clean, innovative BUILD. and show us the engine too. Edited March 27, 2014 by Greg Myers
