I know I could message the seller and ask. But I found it to be intriguing and figure it might interest some here.

And on the car auction he states it appears all there. But the glass isn't in the pictures.

Maybe he just did not know how to edit his current auction to include the picture of the glass?

That's exactly it.

I thought that too. I would think it be better to start whole auction over. It just put the glass in the box and send it with kit.oh well, no big mystery or conspiracy. This time...

As this is in his description, "This is the plastic glass for the car I have for sale on ebay. Please do not bid on this Item."

I'm guessing he forgot the decimal point when typing in the price.

I'm watching that auction too - not going to bid, just want to see what it goes for since I have a dismantled builtup in similar shape.

Been debating for years whether I should open the hood and put in the whole driveline and chassis from a Monogram '59 Eldo.

No, his $1,000 price was intentionally so high no sane person would consider bidding...exactly what the seller wants.

It looks like the seller used eBay's picture services and might be at the maximum of ten images, so s/he thinks s/he cannot add more. You can always add more images using an html code/link, but I'm sure this will turn out fine for the seller as is.

That's a gorgeous Cadillac kit and box, too.

Methamphetamine?

That would explain $1000. Then again, he did say "don't bid," and probably made a silly price to discourage stupidity.

Watch- an even bigger meth-head will bid $2000 for it. Wonder if he'll include the whole kit if that happens?
