Haven't done a build thread in awhile so here we go...

This is an older AMT kit I got on eBay super cheap. It was the one with the yellow gasser on the box. My plans are a traditional custom with the usual goodies: caddy wheel covers, chopped, lowered, shaved etc etc. I also plan on shoehorning a Buick nailhead under the hood as well.

I plan on scratch building the fender skirts and using a steering wheel from a 49 ford, unless I can find an early 50s Chevy butterfly wheel. Anybody know where I can get one?

Nice chop on this one. Just enough without going overboard. Looking forward to seeing this one come together - I don't think I've ever seen this kit built as a tail dragger. Seems like everyone goes the gasser or rat rod route with this one usually. Nice to see something different, and I think you're on the right track with that nailhead.

Finally back at this. Pieced together the hood and scratch built some skirts. Still have alot of cleaning up to do and need to rescribe panel/door lines
