Bucket T Posted April 17, 2014 Posted April 17, 2014 I saw the real deal several times when I was a young'n. I began this build after I found out that Bob Perry was gone. This build was Outside of the box. Scratchbuilt body from plastic sheet, chassis from the Piranha kit. Aluminum tubing for the headers. You can't see it but I even made a V-drive for the trans. Paint isn't close to the 1:1 so don't be too harsh.
rmvw guy Posted April 17, 2014 Posted April 17, 2014 Very cool Randy. The best kind of build in my opinion. Nice job.
Davewilly Posted April 17, 2014 Posted April 17, 2014 Very cool.... I also seen that many times being born and raised in Tucson. That and my dad was friends with Bob I also have sat in it many times as a kid along with a corvette wagon he had that was a wheel stander also.

Psychographic Posted April 18, 2014 Posted April 18, 2014 What a cool piece of history! Every time I see something like this I kick myself in the butt and say "Why didn't I think to build that?" Great job!
1320wayne Posted April 18, 2014 Posted April 18, 2014 Very nice. I've seen numerous attempts done of this subject over the years and yours is by far the best rendition. I have had this project in the planning stages for many years but never have been able to make much progress.
D. Battista Posted April 19, 2014 Posted April 19, 2014 Very COOL..! Excellent job, I like it alot..!
