freakshow12 Posted May 3, 2014 Posted May 3, 2014 Here is my twister mach 1 along with my twister Torino. I had a big WIP on the mach. It had a lot of work done from start to finish. Hope you guys like it.
peekay Posted May 3, 2014 Posted May 3, 2014 Two really nice looking models! Fine detailing throughout.

Chris White Posted May 3, 2014 Posted May 3, 2014 I like the mustang, but I love the Torino. Nice door hinge on the stang
Grumpa Posted May 3, 2014 Posted May 3, 2014 Outstanding builds Fred! Beautiful finishes and detailing on both the Mustang and Torino!
freakshow12 Posted May 3, 2014 Author Posted May 3, 2014 Thanks for the kind words. I am a Torino nut. I am currently on the hunt for a 1:1 70 429 4 speed cobra
astroracer Posted May 3, 2014 Posted May 3, 2014 Nice job Fred. The door jamb and sill detail is impressive. It's one of those things no one "finishes" when they open the doors on a model car and is nice to see here.Mark
bogger44 Posted May 4, 2014 Posted May 4, 2014 Very impressive work, Fred. I enjoyed following your WIP, and still love how you hinged the doors so realistically. Congrats! Oh yeah, I dig that Torino just as much as the Mach....
freakshow12 Posted May 4, 2014 Author Posted May 4, 2014 Thanks bogger. I also have all the parts to build the car in your avatar. I have had the pleasure of seeing the 1:1 and it's awesome. Couldn't tell I'm a due hard ford nut. I also own the car in my avatar. Lol
o-man Posted May 4, 2014 Posted May 4, 2014 Two awesome builds! And congrats on the trophies, well deserved.

Couldn't tell I'm a due hard ford nut. I also own the car in my avatar. Lol You've seen the Tasca Boss '9 in person? Shut-up! LOL. Just kidding. That is awesome, and I am way jealous! I, too, would love to build the car someday but have yet to really dig around gathering info and details on it.
slusher Posted May 4, 2014 Posted May 4, 2014 Gorgeous Mustang and realistic detail. Two fine models..

I, too, would love to build the car someday but have yet to really dig around gathering info and details on it. Yup. I have seen several key mustangs in person. Malco gasser, tasca, green hornet, first boss 9. I attend the odd Shelby convention etc. when I say I'm hardcore it's a bit of an understatement. I'm a paint daub casting number kind of mustang guy lol
Johan020 Posted May 4, 2014 Posted May 4, 2014 Very beautiful models I love the paint and decals on the Mach 1
