Dragfreak Posted May 16, 2014 Posted May 16, 2014 Like the Chevelle, this was just a quick slump buster so not my normal detailing. It's a mediocre build, the paint looks good from 50 feet away, the stance is off, the distributor cap wiring order is off, the horribly casted demon carb isn't polished as it should be,and much more. The detail really isn't there but it looks okay on the shelf. Comments and criticism welcomed 1
cobraman Posted May 16, 2014 Posted May 16, 2014 Looks very good to me. As I have said before............ We are our own worst critics.

StevenGuthmiller Posted May 16, 2014 Posted May 16, 2014 They can't all be show stoppers Jason. I've got plenty of "mediocre" builds on my shelf. It's a hobby, not a job. Doesn't have to be perfect. Still looks pretty nice to me!! Steve
Dragfreak Posted May 16, 2014 Author Posted May 16, 2014 (edited) Thank you, this was just one of those builds that nothing really goes right with. Not that the kit fitment quality helps much. Edited May 16, 2014 by Dragfreak
BIG NICKY Posted May 16, 2014 Posted May 16, 2014 OMG!!!! I CANT BELIEVE THE WIPERS ARE BODY COLOR...... totally kidding i think it looks very nice still blows 90% of my builds out of the water....and hey at least its finished. i seem to get to a certain point on my models and then i start a new one and it just gets pushed to the side...so keep it up and keep the builds coming
Dinky Posted May 16, 2014 Posted May 16, 2014 Like it, one of my favorite models. Combi with the wheels and tyres is great!

TFchronos Posted May 16, 2014 Posted May 16, 2014 Looks good from my viewpoint, another amazingly well done model Jason. Any chance we could get get a pic of the Cuda, Chevelle and Nova together?
cartpix Posted May 16, 2014 Posted May 16, 2014 The wheels & tires are perfect, for this car. I hope it helps to get you out of your slump.
tubbs Posted May 16, 2014 Posted May 16, 2014 Thank you, this was just one of those builds that nothing really goes right with. Not that the kit fitment quality helps much. heck of a slump buster. you build these slump busters to do just that, not put you deeper in a slump. for what it's worth Jason, it's done and that's farther than mine get. looks good from the pictures. keep going man, the next one will be spot on.
Guest Posted May 16, 2014 Posted May 16, 2014 (edited) Looks sweet to me. Edited May 16, 2014 by midnightprowler
Danno Posted May 16, 2014 Posted May 16, 2014 It's okay. (Feel better, now?) it's actually nice, you know.
Dragfreak Posted May 16, 2014 Author Posted May 16, 2014 Thank you everybody, I got some inspiration on the little foxbody I started, I think I'll post in in the drag section soon
sak Posted May 17, 2014 Posted May 17, 2014 Pretty badass. Had lots of problems building this one too I think. The thing I hate most is when the tops edge of the interior does line up with the top edge of the doors. If I recall I had to grind off the top of the firewall and inner fenders to get things good.
