unclescott58 Posted May 21, 2014 Posted May 21, 2014 Thanks guys for the great response on this build! Scott I used Tamiya "Italian Red" in the spray can for the exterior. The interior was done with Model Master "Radome Tan" brush paint followed by a coat of Testors clearcote to give it a semi-gloss leather look. I did not use the decals provided in the kit for the Chrysler scripts on the sides and front but instead painted them by hand using Testors silver brush paint. Thank you. This type of info always helps. I'm always looking for way to improve my model building technics. And when I see a nice model like your's, it's always nice to hear what you used and how you did it. Scott

Rasputen Posted May 28, 2014 Posted May 28, 2014 You did a fabulous job, but I think this car would have had a 12 volt battery. I think the US manufacturers switched to 12 volt systems in 1954.
Brett Barrow Posted May 29, 2014 Posted May 29, 2014 Man, I love a good rep-stock like this! Makes me want to get back to the bench and get cracking on mine!
