Harry P. Posted June 26, 2014 Posted June 26, 2014 Does anyone here have firsthand knowledge (that is, has them!) on this conversion kit? http://www.cervinis.com/05-09mustang-cervini-tail-light-conversion-kit.html
cobraman Posted June 27, 2014 Posted June 27, 2014 I do not but they sure are nice even if pricey. I do like the stock ones too !
Harry P. Posted June 27, 2014 Author Posted June 27, 2014 Pricey for sure. Which is exactly why I'd like some firsthand info before I buy.
mikemodeler Posted June 27, 2014 Posted June 27, 2014 There seemed to be quite a few positive reviews on that page, have you checked any Mustang forums Harry? I would think a forum on late model Mustangs would have several topics on them.

Austin T Posted June 27, 2014 Posted June 27, 2014 Save the money and put it towards that new 2015 Mustang you want. Problem solved!

SSNJim Posted June 28, 2014 Posted June 28, 2014 Don't have them, but I found this in my browsing: http://www.amcarguide.com/custom/real-life-cervinis-tail-light-conversion/ Probably a few pictures you haven't seen before. It's a pretty cool car blog.
slusher Posted June 28, 2014 Posted June 28, 2014 I already thought about that. That might just be the smarter move. If your thinking of getting a new Mustang, that would be a good move Harry...
freakshow12 Posted July 2, 2014 Posted July 2, 2014 Harry, I have seen the conversion first hand and here are my thoughts. Nice product. BUT, if your car is stock or near stock then skip it. In my opinion on a stockish car these look out of place. Look at the raxiom gen 2 lights that look like the 13/14 lights but are for 05-09. I am thinking about those on my 40th and I love it just how shelby did the car when it was there so that should say something.

I was going to get those Raxiom lights... until I saw the Cervinis lights! I really like the Shelby look of them.
freakshow12 Posted July 2, 2014 Posted July 2, 2014 I guess Harry it depends on how far you will take the car. In my opinion you at least need the cervini duck tail spoiler for the back to tie it in
Harry P. Posted July 2, 2014 Author Posted July 2, 2014 The car already has a factory spoiler on it. I don't know... I'm still thinking about it. I might pass... they're pretty pricey.

Color, stripes, spoiler, wheels, window louvers... exact copy. I Photoshopped the light conversion onto it. What do you think?
freakshow12 Posted July 2, 2014 Posted July 2, 2014 That may almost look better spoiler delete. But that's just me
Badluck 13 Posted July 3, 2014 Posted July 3, 2014 I thought of these when I found the add last year until I actually follow one with these on the turnpike and talked to the guy at the service plaza,he loved them but I just wasn't thrilled with the finish look....just my opinion , there are a few in my area running the Raxiom tails which do look sweet...........
cobraman Posted July 3, 2014 Posted July 3, 2014 Those are cool but I think I actually prefer the stock look.
