I know I said I wasn't going to get bogged down, but...

I was going to remove the moulded in stock fuel pump on the block, but looking at this photo it seems it's still in place as a lift pump for the belt-driven injection pump?

Here is another picture I found online. Could those be the dual plug heads standing up on the right, or are they for a different engine? Edit: those cannot be the fisher heads….if those are 12 spark plug holes they’d be under the valve covers.🤔

That photo has three one-barrel downdraft carbs, not fuel injection.

I'm going to refrain from comment on that very interesting photo until I actually have good info.  :)
