ChrisBcritter Posted May 17, 2015 Posted May 17, 2015 "The chain in those handcuffs is high-tensile steel, it'll take ya 10 minutes to hack thru it with this..... if you're lucky, you can hack thru your ankle in 5 minutes......Go!" Or he could have cut through the spring shackle bolt even quicker. (He probably didn't think Johnny was smart enough to come up with that... )
DeeCee Posted May 17, 2015 Posted May 17, 2015 Yeah, Johnny not real bright, MM1 & 2 were legendary here in Aus, #3, was a total failure, i hope this one is as good as the originals, with the amount of $$$$$spent, it should be..

I am a Mad Max fan from day one. I agree 1 & 2 were great........3 I can only watch as nostalgia. Fury Road is Miller's BEST work ever. I've seen it twice....and going again Monday. The entire film, the story, characters, photography and sound all great. And not because it's a Mad Max film. I see lots of films. I have family in the business. Between Ex Machina, Mad Max and hopefully Star Wars...what a year. BTW.....keeping on topic.......some great model inspiration!!!
blunc Posted May 17, 2015 Posted May 17, 2015 what...? no one liked "Thumbderdome"? "two thumbs enter, one thumb leaves."
1930fordpickup Posted May 17, 2015 Posted May 17, 2015 Does the film have any plot or is it just action ,action, action, action? Sorry I am old and think a film needs a reason for the action to happen. The Models that come from this film will be cool though.

Plenty on the net if you want spoilers.....I will not spill them here////
Lownslow Posted May 19, 2015 Posted May 19, 2015 thunderdome was good, Fury Road was awesome but an awful lot of left hand vehicles in it.
thejunkman Posted May 19, 2015 Posted May 19, 2015 I want to build a Doof Wagon! I bet someone will build one for Burning Man.
Lownslow Posted May 19, 2015 Posted May 19, 2015 I want to build a Doof Wagon! I bet someone will build one for Burning Man. LOL You gotta admit that was impressive and even more impressive was the fact it was real.
chunkypeanutbutter Posted May 19, 2015 Posted May 19, 2015 Thunderdome was my least favorite. Road Warrior and Mad Max are tied in my book. Hope to see the new one soon.
Greg Myers Posted May 19, 2015 Posted May 19, 2015 Saw Fury Road with my Daughter and son in law. Her comment on leaving the theater: " WOW ! That was like a fast ride at Disneyland." from start to finish. There are no slow parts, all action.
