Jaguar man 21 Posted July 24, 2014 Posted July 24, 2014 I finally found this kit on ebay for a reasonable price I hope the decals rant to bad there starting to turn yellow
Rob Hall Posted July 24, 2014 Posted July 24, 2014 Interesting..not familiar with that kit...maybe a RoG rebox of one that Aoshima or Fujimi did?
dublin boy Posted July 24, 2014 Posted July 24, 2014 Never knew that existed, any chance of more pics please?
Brizio Posted July 24, 2014 Posted July 24, 2014 Nice kit and well detailed. I build a replica of my uncle Range Rover years ago.
slusher Posted July 24, 2014 Posted July 24, 2014 Never knew they made this kit. Great find and project...
hjracing Posted July 24, 2014 Posted July 24, 2014 Sounds like a cool project. I'll keep an eye on this one!
MikeBoyle Posted July 24, 2014 Posted July 24, 2014 (edited) Hope it doesn't suffer from the electrical issues the 1:1 trucks did! Edited July 24, 2014 by MikeBoyle
Jaguar man 21 Posted July 24, 2014 Author Posted July 24, 2014 (edited) not very funny hey I don't care what kind of problems they have I love land rovers and I always have Edited July 24, 2014 by Jaguar man 21
dublin boy Posted July 24, 2014 Posted July 24, 2014 Nice kit and well detailed. I build a replica of my uncle Range Rover years ago. Does it have the 3.5 litre V8, and full 4WD chassis?
Jaguar man 21 Posted July 24, 2014 Author Posted July 24, 2014 (edited) I wish shay it's just a curb it's got great detail for a curbside though I'll post some pictures later Edited July 24, 2014 by Jaguar man 21
dublin boy Posted July 24, 2014 Posted July 24, 2014 I looked for the instruction sheet everywhere Jeremy, but no joy. Any chance of you taking a few pics of it, doesn't need to perfect. Overfinch in England used to stick 350 Chevys into those things back in the day, The 3.5 litre is actually the old Buick 215 all alloy engine.
Jaguar man 21 Posted July 24, 2014 Author Posted July 24, 2014 The rover v8 is my faviortae engine next to the jaguar straight six I love the low burble the rover v8 makes it's amazing
Zarana-X Posted July 24, 2014 Posted July 24, 2014 Nice score. I've never seen that before. My friend has one in his stable of non-operational, British vehicles. I've had good luck clearcoating dodgy decals with Future.
1 bad55 stan Posted July 24, 2014 Posted July 24, 2014 Thats a cool project,i have seen 1 built up and it looked good!
niteowl7710 Posted July 24, 2014 Posted July 24, 2014 It is a Revell AG rebox of the Aoshima kit. Might I also say the only reason YOU have it is I went to bed after work figuring I'd buy it when I woke up. Literally a "you snooze, you lose" deal For some reason PayPal will not Sync with eBay on my phone or I would have bought it from work that night.
Jaguar man 21 Posted July 25, 2014 Author Posted July 25, 2014 There are aoshima ones still on ebay there a bit more costly though
niteowl7710 Posted July 25, 2014 Posted July 25, 2014 There are aoshima ones still on ebay there a bit more costly though Yeah that $40 price difference for the same kit is a bit of a jump.
Jaguar man 21 Posted July 31, 2014 Author Posted July 31, 2014 Finished the chassis and 85% of the interior I hope to have the body painted very soon
