actually regular flocking, painted a shocking green, and maybe suspended in white glue, would come pretty darn close. if you scaled it up its as big as a piece of healthy grass.

Model railroaders sometimes use a grass-cloth that has...artificial grass on it. It's usually paper with milled sawdust dyed green. Try this google image search and see if anything looks like what you have in mind. https://www.google.com/search?q=model+railroad+grass+cloth&es_sm=122&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ei=2ePWU-eNAqnz8AGamYHoAQ&ved=0CAkQ_AUoAg&biw=1600&bih=799#imgdii=_

RR modelers also use the "grass" loose, available in bags, and glue it to the layout. Frankly, it usually looks a lot more like Astroturf than grass.

this kit:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/FUJIMI-1-24-HONDA-ODYSSEY-w-TREK-8000-BIKE-PLASTIC-CAR-KIT-RA1-RA3-JDM-/231280046601?pt=Model_Kit_US&hash=item35d95d7209

contains, along with two separate Thule luggage carriers, and a scale Trek 8000 mountain bike and carrier, a sheet of astroturf, more or less in scale, on which to display the MomBomb.

pretty good price too, like I said beautiful accessories usable in many applications.
