unclescott58 Posted August 2, 2014 Posted August 2, 2014 I like the paint. It looks great to me. But, I need to ask my standard question. What is the color called? And who makes it? Scott
Grumpa Posted August 2, 2014 Posted August 2, 2014 Nice Mustang! Looks like a "Hot Rod" magazines "Drag Week" contender. Cool car, and the color looks good to me!
Maxicoop Posted August 2, 2014 Posted August 2, 2014 awesome lookin' pony !!!!!! I'm guessing it should run like crazy...... great job !!!
hjracing Posted August 2, 2014 Posted August 2, 2014 This is an really cool build, whit an amaizing level of details. I really like it!
o-man Posted August 2, 2014 Posted August 2, 2014 That turned out really nice! I do like the color you chose.
bbowser Posted August 2, 2014 Posted August 2, 2014 Nice clean build. That would be a handful at the starting line.
DynoMight Posted August 2, 2014 Posted August 2, 2014 Great build, the color is perfect. Isn't that Nissan Orange? I'll have to keep an eye out for one of these kits....
Dragfreak Posted August 4, 2014 Author Posted August 4, 2014 (edited) Thank you Dan! Scott, if I remember right, its Nissan orange by plasticoat, I don't love the shade (I would love it if it was slightly more burnt orange) but it is great paint! it shoots great from the can and dries smoothly. Mark, I thought the same thing, I'm a huge HotRod and Roadkill fan and this thing would make a great dragweek car! Thank you Ron, saying its a pretty wicked 302, it would probably be a 9 second car at the dragstrip. Thank you Jose! I appreciate it Oscar! Thanks Bruce, with a pretty short wheel base it would probably be a wheelie machine! Thank you Peter! Thanks Glenn, its a good kit, the only issue I had, was the dash interfered with the body a little bit, but that could be because of the cage, or other modifications I made to the interior. A little super glue eradicated that problem though Thank you Sean, you do some incredible work! Thank you John and Andy, I think it makes a great shelf model, I'm not quite skilled enough to be a contest contender (if my small area even had any contests) Thank you Carl, I'm glad you like it! Tony, thank you! you do some inspiring work! Thank you Chris, I put more detail into this than I've done on my past builds. Mike, thank you too, I appreciate your feedback! Dragfreak Posted August 4, 2014 Author Posted August 4, 2014 Very nice! Really turned out great! Thank you Robert! Now I'm working on a 1970 chevelle with a tunnel rammed 572, I don't think I'll post it as it's going to be a pretty quick build.
johnbuzzed Posted August 4, 2014 Posted August 4, 2014 Jason, that really looks good. I would be happy to have it on my shelf.
Sixx Posted August 4, 2014 Posted August 4, 2014 You did it all Jason...built a cool Stang, painted it a cool color, and took awesome photos too! I dig the" mirrored floor" shots!
1 bad55 stan Posted August 4, 2014 Posted August 4, 2014 As you know Jason i followed This build most of the way through,It turned out fantastic.I hope you change your mind about posting that chevelle .
