Custom Hearse Posted August 2, 2014 Posted August 2, 2014 The perfect headlights... Guaranteed to make little kids cry, old ladies faint, and grown men have an accident in their pants when they see you driving down the street at night...
wayne swayze Posted August 2, 2014 Posted August 2, 2014 Very menacing....and likely illegal in most states. You going for them Harry?
Harry P. Posted August 2, 2014 Posted August 2, 2014 Daylight time only. Hmmm... not much need for lights in the daytime...
1930fordpickup Posted August 2, 2014 Posted August 2, 2014 Tell that to the Canadian members here Harry.
Harry P. Posted August 2, 2014 Posted August 2, 2014 Tell that to the Canadian members here Harry. I know, DRL law. But not here in the US.
Harry P. Posted August 2, 2014 Posted August 2, 2014 Not needed. If you can't see a car in broad daylight, you shouldn't be driving.
vintagestang Posted August 2, 2014 Posted August 2, 2014 Hmmm... not much need for lights in the daytime... Tell that to the people around here that drive with their high beams on.
JunkPile Posted August 2, 2014 Posted August 2, 2014 (edited) Them "snake eyes" are too cool. They have their place day or night. If you see me driving in the daytime and my headlights caught your eye, I can almost be assured that that you will not pull out in front of me. Hence the phrase "daytime running lights" No cost safety Edited August 2, 2014 by JunkPile

1930fordpickup Posted August 2, 2014 Posted August 2, 2014 Good point Harry. This what i told a friend of mine that lived in Canada most of his life. He said the accident rate dropped in Canada after that law went through.
JunkPile Posted August 2, 2014 Posted August 2, 2014 (edited) Harry, your eyes are the only ones that I am looking for. Edit: This just don't sound RIGHT !!! Edited August 2, 2014 by JunkPile
Kris Morgan Posted August 2, 2014 Posted August 2, 2014 I hear they will shave a tenth of your quarter mile time.

disabled modeler Posted August 2, 2014 Posted August 2, 2014 Very very cool....if I had a Mustang it would have some...
Bennyg Posted August 4, 2014 Posted August 4, 2014 Not needed. If you can't see a car in broad daylight, you shouldn't be driving. I reckon DRLs are great idea. Especially when driving toward the sun in the morning or evening. My car come with led DRLs and they don't blind people. Cheers Ben
Rob Hall Posted August 4, 2014 Posted August 4, 2014 Ick...cheesy headlight covers..remember the stupid black out headlight covers that were popular in the '80s-90s?
disabled modeler Posted August 4, 2014 Posted August 4, 2014 I think they make a mean looking car even look much more wicked....to me it works on the black car anyway.
freakshow12 Posted August 4, 2014 Posted August 4, 2014 Awful. I know I wouldn't ever have those within 25ft of my car.
Kris Morgan Posted August 4, 2014 Posted August 4, 2014 (edited) Ick...cheesy headlight covers..remember the stupid black out headlight covers that were popular in the '80s-90s?I do. What about the cheesey neon wiper blade arms and, plate frames? Edited August 4, 2014 by Kris Morgan
slusher Posted August 5, 2014 Posted August 5, 2014 I had a 94 Ford Ranger with black headlight covers and taillight covers with legal tinted windows.. I always thought it looked good but I was still young. Now I would not use them for anything but I have my windows tinted, helps keep the car cooler but its legal tint no black out stuff...
michael1969 Posted August 6, 2014 Posted August 6, 2014 I love the covers I had on my 70 cougar. Mine was similar to this.
