Tompidom Posted August 3, 2014 Posted August 3, 2014 I bought the New Revell Ferrari Laferrari a while ago. But I had to finish the GT86 first befoe I could start on this one. The Gt86 is finished so this one has been started  No pictures of the box content but I did make a video I also made a start on some gleuing and filling wich can bee seen in this video The body is made up out of a couple different pieces that need to be gleud and filled before paint. I gleud them with Revell Concatt glue and filled it with Zero paints filler Their were a couple of sincholes in the body that got some filler aswell The body recieved the first coat of grey primer so I can see which aera´s need more attention Also today I started on painting all the indevidual parts

Funkychiken Posted August 8, 2014 Posted August 8, 2014 great build so far, and thanks for the detail & videos. please tell me what primer you use, and do you thin it more? it seems to go on well...!
Byron5150 Posted August 8, 2014 Posted August 8, 2014 Great build so far man!! Love the videos too, and your methods of plastic modeling.
Tompidom Posted August 9, 2014 Author Posted August 9, 2014 Thanks guys! great build so far, and thanks for the detail & videos. please tell me what primer you use, and do you thin it more? it seems to go on well...! I always use zero paints pre thinned grey primer micro filler. Most of the times when i start a new botle i do a litle test piece to see if it needs thinning down. And use about 1 ml of thinner to thin it. Thats for the whole botle of 250 ml
Cien1986 Posted August 9, 2014 Posted August 9, 2014 very nice progress waiting to see the next upload
lanesteele240 Posted August 12, 2014 Posted August 12, 2014 Will you show how you make your window mask
microwheel Posted August 13, 2014 Posted August 13, 2014 This is looking good. I love the style of this car.
DynoMight Posted August 13, 2014 Posted August 13, 2014 (edited) You always do good work. This is no exception! Great job on this so far! FUN FACT: To own the LaFerrari, you must have 3 Ferraris under your name to own one, even if you have them money for one, but don't have 3 Ferraris, they won't sell you one. Only 499 will be made. Exotics_Builder Posted August 13, 2014 Posted August 13, 2014 Everything looks great except the wheels. They are five lug and LaFerrari's have center lug. Were you planning on converting the wheels using the center from the kit wheels?
my80malibu Posted August 13, 2014 Posted August 13, 2014 Is that a grounding strap, shown in the video with the airbrush?
Kennyboy Posted August 13, 2014 Posted August 13, 2014 Been following this......love what you have done so far! What are the wheels from? I do like them.
Tompidom Posted August 14, 2014 Author Posted August 14, 2014 Everything looks great except the wheels. They are five lug and LaFerrari's have center lug. Were you planning on converting the wheels using the center from the kit wheels? Nope going to leave them like this, I personaly don't like the center lugs Is that a grounding strap, shown in the video with the airbrush? Not sure wich part you mean, But its not a grounding strap(unless its somthing else then to catch lightning )
