Perfect for the 13th: Another Oldie 13!

Very very rare for me is to build something not factory stock. Would never do this to a real car, but built this Fairlane into a early 1970s style hot rod.

Since the last time I posted it, I added the flames that came with the kit, added quarter windows, and a CB antenna as the car had the CB under the dash, but I had forgotten about the antenna... Breaker, breaker... Why nobody copy, breaker?

The build itself was fast, and took under a week. paint is Tamiya orange from the spray can.

The engine is the 312 Y-Block with a custom aluminum intake manifold for a dual Autolite 4100 carburetor setup. Wheels are the only aftermarket I even consider to even exist, Cragar SS composite mags, in 15" that's about as big as a car wheel can be, and wrapped in Good Year Polyglas GT bias ply tires.
