Lovefordgalaxie
Very very rare for me is to build something not factory stock. Would never do this to a real car, but built this Fairlane into a early 1970s style hot rod. Since the last time I posted it, I added the flames that came with the kit, added quarter windows, and a CB antenna as the car had the CB under the dash, but I had forgotten about the antenna... Breaker, breaker... Why nobody copy, breaker? The build itself was fast, and took under a week. paint is Tamiya orange from the spray can. The engine is the 312 Y-Block with a custom aluminum intake manifold for a dual Autolite 4100 carburetor setup. Wheels are the only aftermarket I even consider to even exist, Cragar SS composite mags, in 15" that's about as big as a car wheel can be, and wrapped in Good Year Polyglas GT bias ply tires. 1957 Ford Fairlane 500 Hot Rod. by Lovefordgalaxie, on Flickr 1957 Ford Fairlane 500 Hot Rod. by Lovefordgalaxie, on Flickr 1957 Ford Fairlane 500 Hot Rod. by Lovefordgalaxie, on Flickr 1957 Ford Fairlane 500 Hot Rod. by Lovefordgalaxie, on Flickr 1957 Ford Fairlane 500 Hot Rod. by Lovefordgalaxie, on Flickr 1957 Ford Fairlane 500 Hot Rod. by Lovefordgalaxie, on Flickr 1957 Ford Fairlane 500 Hot Rod. by Lovefordgalaxie, on Flickr 1957 Ford Fairlane 500 Hot Rod. by Lovefordgalaxie, on Flickr
