Amtronic Posted August 14, 2014 Posted August 14, 2014 (edited) Built using a built up cat bulldozer I got off ebay. The counterweights can pivot in and out, and are filled with nuts and washers to offset whatever I put in the sling. All the pieces are pinned to the tracks so it can easily be disassembled to travel. They're never finished I just stop working on them. Edited August 14, 2014 by Amtronic
Petetrucker07 Posted August 14, 2014 Posted August 14, 2014 Awesome work on the implements to make it something that never has and probably never will be kitted. Very nice job
SpreadAxle Posted February 18, 2015 Posted February 18, 2015 Very cool. I hauled one of these a few years ago and wondered if this could be done with the kit. Nice work.
gatorincebu Posted February 18, 2015 Posted February 18, 2015 Now that is just plain cool! You did a great job of using the parts from the ripper to make parts for the sideboom! I like it! Be Well Gator

Be Well Gator I worked for a pipeline company all my life and a pipelayer was always on my mind as a future project. I had even imagined using the ripper hydraulics as you did. Never got around to it. Built the dozer though. thanks for doing it. Now I can rest in piece. Beautiful fabrication.
