Kris Morgan Posted August 19, 2014 Posted August 19, 2014 That is a very cool story. Thank you for pointing it out.
MrObsessive Posted August 19, 2014 Posted August 19, 2014 That was a great story! I love the lines of that car, and I can remember as a kid when hardtop wagons were fairly common. Now I have to look at soulless minivans and their ilk littering the road.
pharoah Posted August 19, 2014 Posted August 19, 2014 I'd rather have that in my garage than a Ferrari any day.
hgbben Posted August 19, 2014 Posted August 19, 2014 Way cooler to hear about this than the unique but over priced Ferrari.
unclescott58 Posted August 20, 2014 Posted August 20, 2014 Another great story involving two of my favorite automotive things. One is Jay Leno. One of the all time great car guys. And a great guy all around. Second is a Buick. Next to Cord, my favorite brand of automobile. And the '57 Cabellero was and is one of the all time cool wagons. And it's great to see people donating their time (in the case of President Bush and Jay Leno) and money (the bidders) to a worthy cause. A nice story at a time when we need more nice stories like this. Scott
disabled modeler Posted August 20, 2014 Posted August 20, 2014 I'd rather have that in my garage than a Ferrari any day. Same here...great story and a beautiful wagon.
