Neil Diamond - America or Coming to America

Yes

I know a man

He came from my hometown

He wore his passion for his woman

Like a thorny crown

I recognize the lyrics, but the song title and artist escape me. Rats!

Reflected in your eyes

I wonder where you are

I wonder if you

Think about me

Once upon a time

Your Wildest dreams, by The Moody Blues. Not quite a Nights in White Satin level tune but a good'n none the less.

Great Job Bruce!!!!! Many people say you know that song Teenage Wasteland. I'm Guilty of getting song titles and lyrics twisted all the time! I have two that I find funny, one is mine (one of many) and the other is my sisters

I can't believe I'm going to put this out there!! Cher's song Gypsies Traps and Thieves. I thought the lyrics were "We here it from the people of a thousand colors" and it's "We hear it from the people of the towns they call us" or something like that.

My sister has a really great one and it's from a traditional Christmas Carol, What Child Is This (I think that's the name) The verse is "And Ransom Captive Israel" She thought it was and "And Rent A Cab In Israel" lol

Edit: The Christmas Carol name is not. What Child Is This. I checked the Lyrics and I'm embarrassed I don't know the tile.

OK guys, going to plead to your knowledge of Thin Lizzy and Gary Moore.

in 1974, Thin Lizzy puts out the Jailbreak album, Gary Moore was not in the group at this time..

Phil Lynott – bass guitar, lead vocals, acoustic guitar

Scott Gorham – lead and rhythm guitar

Brian Robertson – lead and rhythm guitar

Brian Downey – drums, percussion

they recorded a song called Emerald. I posted the lyrics to this song long ago.

speed forward to 1985, gary Moore now X guitar from Thin Lizzy puts out a single "out in the fields" WITH Phil Lynott, here is a blurb from wiki...

"Out in the Fields" is a single by former Thin Lizzy band members Gary Moore and Phil Lynott, released in 1985. The song is about the religious turmoil in their native Ireland.

IT'S THE SAME SONG!! there is no mention of Thin Lizzy doing it 10 years earlier under a different title. what gives. cant find anything on this, thought I would come to you guys.

sorry for a non lyric post.

You wanna get close to me
The feeling so clear
But I need some time to see
Vision through my tear

Now you move so fine, let me lay it on the line

I wanna know what you're doin' after the show

Hot Blooded by Foreigner

I close my eyes only for a moment

, and the moment's gone

Dust in the Wind by Kansas

Foreigner is one of the few bands of their era that still sounds great live- the singer still hits all the high notes!

Won't you take me back to school
I need to learn the golden rule
Won't you lay it on the line
I need to hear it just one more time
Oh won't you tell me again

The current lead vocalist is not the original. Lou Gramm was the original.
