1) "Spring is here again,

Reproductive glands....."

2) "After dinner I had ice cream,

fell asleep and watched TV,

woke up in my Mother's arms..."

There is a theme here, if anyone catches it.......!

I'm going to post my Saturday morning five tonight, As I have much to do before Tuesday. For those of you who communicate with me via PM know I had a nasty accident last July 10th. On Tuesday (9 months to the day) I go Steve Austin as I am having a knee replacement. I started a way back Wednesday this week and plan on doing it on a regular basis but I doubt I will be doing it this week as I'm sure I'll be in a little bo peep acoma (Frank Zappa) For all who have wished me well this week thanks..... you guys are the best!!!!

Jolly, Thanks for starting this awesome thread... I really enjoy the banter with all!!! Much respect!!!!

Snake, Try to stay out of trouble while I'm gone :P

I have another theme. Sixties bands that wore uniforms when their careers started. My guess is these will be answered within an hour!!!

#1) I told the girl that my prospects were good

And she said baby, it's understood

#2) My riches can't buy everything

I want to hear the children sing

#3) Though I'm dressed in these rags

I'll wear sable some day

#4) Well you want to know what moves my soul

And what ticks inside of my brain

#5) You take sally and I'll take Sue

And were gonna rock away all of our blues

Peace Jimmy "RASS"

This one probably hasn't been done yet. Steve

"I called you so many times today,

and I guess it's all true what your girlfriends say,

that you don't ever want to see me again,

and your brother's gonna kill me and he's six feet ten"....

"Someday you say that someday you may

Be my girl

Hand in hand we'll walk, through the land we'll walk

Around the world

But right now..."

Hint: Should be easy - Chicago band. Not the Buckinghams. Song is actually made up of fragments of three unfinished songs.

Another car one that's probably been done. :P Steve

"And now the sun's comin' up,

I'm ridin' with lady luck,

freeway cars & trucks,

stars beginning to fade,

and I lead the parade,

just a wishin' I'd stayed a little longer,

Lord, don't ya know, the feeling's gettin' stronger."

And I'm countin' on you, you can carry me through

Drift Away. Been covered by many. Bill Withers or Dobie Gray might have had the biggest hit with it.

"You told me baby you were gone for good,

But here you are right back in the old neighborhood.
You stood in a lobby with a ticket in hand
For a one-way ride to the promised land..."

From my window I'm staring while my coffee grows cold."

My personal Rule of Music #1: If there's a harmonica featured, it's a good song.

My personal Rule of Music #2: If there's a mandolin featured, it's a good song.

Hint: this one follows rule #2:

"We're leaving it all behind

while castles are falling down.
We're going where no one can find us,
and if there's a heaven we'll find it somehow"...
