Gothicz House Of Kustomz Posted September 1, 2014 Posted September 1, 2014 Yep, started this a few months back, kinda taken a life of it's own, almost done with the body, engine is striped, waiting now for some adhesive spray, for the tuck and roll interior, added a '64-'65 Rivie front clip, and the rear panel from, I think a '68 Kaddy kustom kit, not sure, but it worked, and designed a whole new kustom opening door system, WARNING, there are prolly to many pic's, but I think ya guys will enjoy them, so please sit back and enjoy, all this work, just to be auctioned off, LMBBO.
Gothicz House Of Kustomz Posted September 1, 2014 Author Posted September 1, 2014 The frame is the Revell lowrider Kaddy, added 5/16" and narrowed to fit the body, the engine no longer looks like this, as it has been striped, and will also have Kustom paint work and detail, but sure looks nice in that cradle. Gotta luv free filler
Gothicz House Of Kustomz Posted September 1, 2014 Author Posted September 1, 2014 Roughed in just a lil Starting to take some shape New body molding added, just for a lil flair Grill area looking good
Modlbldr Posted September 1, 2014 Posted September 1, 2014 Interesting build so far. Curious to see how it will look. Are you interested in trading off the 64 Caddy front bumper and grille? If so, PM me. Later-
Gothicz House Of Kustomz Posted September 1, 2014 Author Posted September 1, 2014 (edited) '64-'65 Rivie clip, now one with the '64 The new kustom door opening system, I like to call, GUILLOTINE DOORS, and yes they will stay in any locked position, from open to full open and close to full close, in other words, NO! they do not sag, any any point. here is a vid of the driver side door actually working, this is only a mock up, next couple of days, I will post pic's of both doors, then on to kustom jambs, and sills http://vid268.photobucket.com/albums/jj13/unforgiven2008/64%20Angel/Doorvideo001_zps8bf5b5ac.mp4 Edited September 1, 2014 by Gothicz House Of Kustomz

Gothicz House Of Kustomz Posted September 10, 2014 Author Posted September 10, 2014 (edited) Not actually an update, but a step forwards, started the interior, soooooooo not posting pic's of that, as it is so not pretty, will be soon tho, anyway, played with the suspension some, allot of changes to be made, oh an made a flat airbag system, never could under stand why, when ppl do slammed car'z/truck'z, they always use bag set up'z, that look like the bag has air in it???????, if yer slamming, then shouldnt the air bag'z look sorta. I dunno, like there isn't air in'em????, I'm no rocket expert, but plump air bag'z tell me, ummmmmm up. anyway, my bag look'z like a bomb with a purple fuze, but fit the frame to the lower A arm perfect, ok not perfect so to speak, have to tweek the A arm'z a lil, might be to low, might have to go with a triple bag, "would ya like a bag sir?" "no thank'z got one at home" I actually have myself fooled into believing, I can have this all working, HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA. Edited September 10, 2014 by Gothicz House Of Kustomz

Gothicz House Of Kustomz Posted September 11, 2014 Author Posted September 11, 2014 thanx everyone, NOW, here is my idea of flat non bomb looking air bag, needs a lil dressing still, but so in the right direction, got to thinking, if flat, then the bags would be a lil wider then the plates, but like I said, in the right direction.
72 Charger Posted September 11, 2014 Posted September 11, 2014 Very nice .What are you useing for the bags are they rubber washers?
Gothicz House Of Kustomz Posted September 11, 2014 Author Posted September 11, 2014 Very nice .What are you useing for the bags are they rubber washers? Exactly what they are, got like 500 of'em, for like 6.00, I do alot of slammed stuff, and thought I would go with the thinner ones, to give that slammed look. OK, well I'm not one to leave well enough alone, so I'm setting up to add to the lower A arms, for the air bags: WARNING NOT PRETTY:
Gothicz House Of Kustomz Posted September 12, 2014 Author Posted September 12, 2014 Something really bothers me, so if someone could help me out, point me in the right direction, please don't say google, been there done that, but the cross member, just, ummmm, well, looks wrong, now the frame and front suspension is off the the Revell lowrider Caddy kit, somebody kno the year of that Caddy?
Gothicz House Of Kustomz Posted September 12, 2014 Author Posted September 12, 2014 Just about ready for dress out, some minor clean up still, Angel'z lower A-arms, yes done by hand, and surprizing, didn't snap it:
