Starting new build Tamiyas LaFerrari. I am also using Tamiya photo etched and Tamiya carbon Fiber set.

Have fun with this. I just got my second one. I ruined the body work on my first one trying to strip paint. Will be watching. Definitely read some assembly articles on this,it. They give good tips on the assembly and paint. Cheers

so got some primer and color going. Ran out of primer half way thru so haid to run to hobby lobby and get more. Wish I had a real hobby store in town.

Did the exhaust and struts with Alclad Titanium Gold, just for something different. started with gloss black bottom coat then 3 coats alclad.

small update for some reason Tamiya doesn't include the orange hybrid wiring in the engine bay. You can clearly see it in all pics of car. so going to try to scratch build it. Started buy drilling out connectors and running 20 gauge jewelers wire.

Quick update. Stripped wheels of chrome. i have not seen it on here before, but this is how I strip chrome. Liquid Plumber. takes less then 5 mins to strip Tamiya chrome don't know about others. And it is designed to not eat plastic since most houses have plastic pipes either abs or pvc. It might strip paint too ,but never tried it.

That helps a lot thanks. What didn't help was for some stupid reason I didn't put body in Tupperware like I us ally do and my 9 year old decide to sweep the room. Bennyg you jinxed me. So trying to fix paint now.
