D. Battista Posted September 14, 2014 Posted September 14, 2014 (edited) Hello Everyone..! Another one of my older builds, this was my first attempt with Alclad ll Chrome paint. When Alclad Chrome first came out. All chrome parts were done with the Alclad except the wheels. A little aftermarket and scratch built detail added. Limited edition clear red body, regularly done in just clear plastic. Thanks for looking...! Sorry for the bad pics...! Edited September 14, 2014 by Davemodeltech
gtx6970 Posted September 15, 2014 Posted September 15, 2014 (edited) Looks good, I think this is the 1st Charger kit I've ever seen built I have one of the barracudas in process,,,,,but I have't got much model bench time the last couple of years. Is that kit still available? Only in the secondary market.. It's been years since I've seen one of the red bodies. The clear ones are not real hard to find though,,,but do command a slight premium over the white pastic versions. If you get lucky and find a red one it's gonna hurt. There was a clear red barracuda body as well,,same way tough to find. Edited September 15, 2014 by gtx6970
am73grand Posted September 16, 2014 Posted September 16, 2014 That is very cool. Never saw one built with the clear body. I really like it!
Bird12 Posted September 16, 2014 Posted September 16, 2014 Very cool, and nice work. Reminds me of the old magazine photos of the 70's. I never knew this kit existed in this form.
Burnout Posted September 16, 2014 Posted September 16, 2014 Looks great! I like the translucent body. I also remember when the car mags often did the double exposure thing with their photo layouts but this is one step better.
D. Battista Posted September 16, 2014 Author Posted September 16, 2014 Thanks again for the nice replies everyone...!
