Another oldy...Built this one to replicate the car my grandfather had when I was a kid. The last time I saw this car I was probably 12 years old. Did this before I read anything about weathering a model car. Or any reference pics. Probably needed some...

There's a great song about a rusty Chevrolet. I don't know the name of it. But, one of the lines is, "Dashing through the snow in my rusty Chevrolet." The songs goes on and sings about many of experiences a lot of us in the north country have had with rusty cars. Some other than Chevrolets. Nice model. It looks right.

You need the holes in the floor so you can use your swampers for slowing the car down. It's in the song. Not about the holes. But, using the swampers.
