Getting closer on finishing this one up. Here are some progress pictures. Added some BMF on the windshield frame and have the interior finished.

Well I have the Hot Rod truck finished and built the crate HEMI with the crate but missed the width dimension so the crate will not fit in the back yet. Here some pictures of my current progress.

You mentioned lengthening the wheelbase but I don't think you told us how you did that. Did you lengthen the whole frame?

I cut the frame and added 3/4" to it and adjusted the axle traction rods.

Resized the crate and added the side horn this now finished. Check out under glass for more pictures.

Cool stuff! Love that one Dan! I've been busy lately but really excited to dig into this kit. I want to do a fruit truck version, probably stock. The molded in fruit was no doubt good enough for the teen age audience when the kit was first issued, but I see it as a good template to make my own from basswood. And I'll dig into a bag of bird seed to find the fruit shapes. Add a bit of paint and you have fruit!
