squirrel886 Posted October 18, 2014 Posted October 18, 2014 .......started work on this when a friend and fellow club member inquired about "Z'ing" a frame. It's a break from the many ongoing Deuce projects I have.
squirrel886 Posted October 20, 2014 Author Posted October 20, 2014 .......the start of diamond tuft door panels to go match the seats.
squirrel886 Posted October 20, 2014 Author Posted October 20, 2014 .......door panels drying, ready for trimming, and clean up.
DynoMight Posted October 20, 2014 Posted October 20, 2014 Nice doors. Good to see something different....
squirrel886 Posted October 21, 2014 Author Posted October 21, 2014 Interior panels trimmed, and just needs some filling/sanding. I drilled a few lightening holes in the front axle also. Don't look to close cuz they're off slightly.
squirrel886 Posted October 21, 2014 Author Posted October 21, 2014 Thanks for the comments everyone! Now I have to decide which engine I want to install. NNL 2015's theme is SBC that I can use out of the Rat Roaster, the Ford out of one of the many Deuce kits I have, or a flathead.
bpletcher55 Posted October 21, 2014 Posted October 21, 2014 old fords need an old flathead ,here,s one i did ,
squirrel886 Posted October 22, 2014 Author Posted October 22, 2014 Nice build Blair! ........added front frame rails. Now I have to go back and section the radiator since I forgot the body is channeled and the frame is Z'd.
bpletcher55 Posted October 22, 2014 Posted October 22, 2014 that looks to be a chevy motor BRADLY. YOU MAY NOT HAVE TO SECTION THE RADIATOR ,CHANNEL IT IN BETWEEN THE FRAME RAILS ,
wayne swayze Posted October 23, 2014 Posted October 23, 2014 Really am liking the ultra small rear window! Just screams "HOT ROD" !
squirrel886 Posted October 25, 2014 Author Posted October 25, 2014 ......some pics. I even scratchbuilt another frame.
squirrel886 Posted October 25, 2014 Author Posted October 25, 2014 .......and shortened the radiator.
