(I know you use Slixx decals) I get them from Slixx decals, but they are made by competition resins... Thanks alot fellas for the kind words... really appreciated...
tyrone Posted January 17, 2015 Author Posted January 17, 2015 Looking good. Any thoughts on color? Not sure yet Bob... thinking about black w/vinyl top and white bumble bee stripe...
tyrone Posted January 17, 2015 Author Posted January 17, 2015 I found some resin r/s grilles on ebay... they turned out pretty good...
Petetrucker07 Posted January 18, 2015 Posted January 18, 2015 The RS style grille looks way better than kit grille. Gives it a mean outlaw look. Ha, guess it worked out perfect.
Mooneyzs Posted January 18, 2015 Posted January 18, 2015 Tyrone... You are killing this build and loving the progress you are making. I have to say that the RS grill looks so much better than the SS grille. I think it give it more attitude. Looking good man!!
W-409 Posted January 18, 2015 Posted January 18, 2015 I have to say that I thought the SS grille looked much better than RS version. I've never been a great fan of those grilles that hide headlights behind them on these cars. Still it looks very good like this and your craftmanship is really great to watch. This will be another stunning model once finished, I'm sure about that.
Rrrrrrumps Posted January 18, 2015 Posted January 18, 2015 Alright, what do you have, some kinda "shrink ray" or something.to make yourself small and work on these models? Your attention to detail...sez it all! Eye grabbin' detail.

I made a little more progress on this one.. got the front wheels on the car for good, and added the center caps, I added the plug wires, and I also added some thin stryene strips to the doors where the molding stopped for the 1/4 glasses, and I have fit the sccop to the windshield... thanks for looking and comments welcome... futurattraction Posted January 23, 2015 Posted January 23, 2015 That's a creative use of breather caps! LOL Do you happen to know their OD? They do a really nice job of finishing off your wheels.
tyrone Posted January 26, 2015 Author Posted January 26, 2015 (edited) Thanks for the kind words fellas.... I got the carbs done on this one tonight.... I also removed the bare metal foil trim and painted the grill trim with alclad chrome... Edited January 26, 2015 by tyrone
Petetrucker07 Posted January 27, 2015 Posted January 27, 2015 Looks awesome man. You've probably already answered this in other builds, but what do you use to cut the doors that keeps the keeps the gap so tight? I want to do opening doors on a few Peterbilt builds I have coming up.
tyrone Posted January 31, 2015 Author Posted January 31, 2015 Thanks Clayton... got some plumbing done on this one last night... thanks for looking and comments welcome...
