timc Posted November 7, 2014 Author Posted November 7, 2014 Come on guys is there really no interest in this?
Jordan White Posted November 9, 2014 Posted November 9, 2014 Seems like the community build section is pretty slow, may be because of how far down the page it is. Would this build include their 1/16 kits?
Jordan White Posted November 10, 2014 Posted November 10, 2014 Well I would be in if some other people join as well.
timc Posted November 10, 2014 Author Posted November 10, 2014 (edited) I have four kits to choose from.2 of the 80's era Porsches,a 356 Porsche convertible and a Ferrari dino.I'm leaning towards the 85 Carrera now.I hope we can get some more people aboard. Edited November 10, 2014 by timc
Jordan White Posted November 10, 2014 Posted November 10, 2014 I'd be building the 1/16 Countach LP500 kit. I'm still debating on the color though, since I'm not sure whether to go with one of the stock colors or a custom color.
blackandwhite Posted November 10, 2014 Posted November 10, 2014 ive got an integra/skyline/evo/murcielago depends on the time frame as ill be gone next week for work, and then am going home for 2 1/2 weeks in december
Kennyboy Posted November 10, 2014 Posted November 10, 2014 I have a 1/16 Lambo Countach 20th anniversary Enthusiast kit that is already started if that would be ok.......would give me a reason to finish it.
timc Posted November 10, 2014 Author Posted November 10, 2014 Yes that would be OK. It doesn't matter if the kits are started as long as we are building them. There will be no end date so we can take our time and do them right.
Scalper Posted November 10, 2014 Posted November 10, 2014 I would be interested to join. I have to move into my new house first . Might do the 930 turbo I have
Kennyboy Posted November 11, 2014 Posted November 11, 2014 Yes that would be OK. It doesn't matter if the kits are started as long as we are building them. There will be no end date so we can take our time and do them right. Ok, I am in then.
streetmachine11 Posted November 12, 2014 Posted November 12, 2014 I have a few ive been meaning to build so Im defenetly in
timc Posted November 12, 2014 Author Posted November 12, 2014 Let me know what kits you plan to build and I will add a list to the first post this weekend. No harsh rules except that it must be an Enthusiast kit or a re-box of one. No end date so we don't have to rush them. I hope to be able to get started on mine this weekend.
Kennyboy Posted November 12, 2014 Posted November 12, 2014 I'll be building the 1/16 scale Fujimi Enthusiast 25th Anniversary Lamborghini Countach 5000 Q (the one with the White Lambo on the cover)
Jordan White Posted November 12, 2014 Posted November 12, 2014 I'll be building the 1/16 Lambo Countach LP500S.
Kennyboy Posted November 12, 2014 Posted November 12, 2014 Looking forward to seeing your Countach Jordan, should be cool to see the different versions together in one build!
Jordan White Posted November 12, 2014 Posted November 12, 2014 I've decided on making mine the very 80's "triple white" version (exterior, interior, wheels).
Ace-Garageguy Posted November 13, 2014 Posted November 13, 2014 I've been wanting to do a 356A Porsche "outlaw" style build based on the Fujimi 4-cam kit, but I just don't have much time these days. Hate to commit to another build, only to have it sit and collect dust with the 30 or 40 others on the bench.
Mike_G Posted November 13, 2014 Posted November 13, 2014 I have the Lancia Stratos and LP400 kits in my stash What's the timeframe on this?
timc Posted November 13, 2014 Author Posted November 13, 2014 No time frame. We start this weekend and take as long as you need. Well I'm gonna start mine this weekend any way. What ever works for everyone is what we will do.
rctruk Posted November 16, 2014 Posted November 16, 2014 This is cool...I have a Koenig Contach Special. I'd love to build it. I'm in .
Jordan White Posted November 17, 2014 Posted November 17, 2014 I'll probably get started tomorrow haha, I have to dig mine out from the closet.
