Shelby 427 1965 Posted December 20, 2014 Posted December 20, 2014 There's a few old Irish sayings out there - one of them is "Where there's a will, there's a Trabant with a V8 stuck in it." Stay tuned.
cobraman Posted December 20, 2014 Posted December 20, 2014 Now that is different. If there is one thing I like it's different. Carry on !
10thumbs Posted December 20, 2014 Posted December 20, 2014 A hot Ford motor in the plastic bomber? I love it! Man, did those cars stink when driving behind one in traffic! Put some tires on the back of that thing and turn it on! Michael
Tompidom Posted December 20, 2014 Posted December 20, 2014 Really cool idea, looking forward in seeing this build proceed!
FASTBACK340 Posted December 21, 2014 Posted December 21, 2014 Gonna need some room for a radiator, but otherwise it's a great idea.
afx Posted December 21, 2014 Posted December 21, 2014 Cool project. That looks like the 1/24 scale 289 from Revell/Monogram's '66 Shelby. I love that engine but am AMT 1/25 scale 289 might be an easier fit. Either way killer start.
jbwelda Posted December 21, 2014 Posted December 21, 2014 nice start...that motor is gonna rip that tin can apart! jb
GeeBee Posted December 21, 2014 Posted December 21, 2014 Interesting project, it would certainly get past Checkpoint Charlie quicker than a standard Trabbi ....

Tom Geiger Posted June 14, 2015 Posted June 14, 2015 the pictures aren't showing up I really want to see That's what happens when people put the photos on this site. They fill out the small amount of space given, then have to delete the photos to put on new photos. So all of their threads look like this!
