Can-Con
nice work on the cowl. fyi, the carb on the 30 yr old engine is on backwards. Thanks on the cowl. The carb ,, Yea, I know now but I didn't back then. In my defense though, it is how it shown to be installed in the instructions. BTW, the new engine has a quadrajet instead of the Holley and a different air cleaner assembly so I won't be able to make the same mistake again. Looking good, Steve! Thanks Chris. drodg
I have wanted to do a MPC or Model King stock 69 GTO. I think the back lights and rear bumper look better on the original 69 mold as compared to the Monogram 1/24 kit. I wonder if Missing Link still makes the interior? You have done a great job. Can-Con
not much to look at really but the front end is now done except for painting. Made some U shaped channel and pinned the "steering uprights" that came in the kit in them then glued them to the chassis plate. Made some tie rods from thin brass to connect it together and topped it off with the lower A arms from an old MPC TransAm kit. Like I said, not much to look at but it is functional.
