Captain Obvious
Finished this build last weekend, and while it's not perfect, I'm certainly proud of it. The photos make it look much more blue than it is (true color is much more aqua, a Duplicolor color that escapes me). The exhaust is half-kit, half-aluminum. There were supposed to be trim pieces on the tops of the front fenders, but I broke one while removing it from the sprue, so bits of strip styrene and chrome silver paint take their place. The side-view mirror face went missing, so was replaced with the "pupil" of a googly eye. And I know it's missing an air filter, the carburetors actually have some decent detail that I didn't want to hide lol. On with the pics! 10thumbs
That 62 Chevy has an attitude. The wheels make it in my book. Looks good. Michael

Captain Obvious
Beautiful build! As previously posted, it has a great stance and attitude! You should be very proud of this build. What tires did you use for the rears? The rear tires are actually included in the kit...it's a 2-in-1 kit that includes stock and drag bits. Thanks for the compliments everyone!
