Bernard Kron Posted December 31, 2014 Author Posted December 31, 2014 Wow! Thanx for all the interest and the very, very generous comments. This build cashed in on an awful lot of Revell Deuces I've built before it - sort of a "Greatest Hits" of tricks and techniques I've learned. But there were still some new things to try (the radically Gold Kandy paint and the precise rear window chop job for example) so, as with all my models so far, these projects continue to be a "learning experience". As a result I took a bit longer than I thought it would and crowded out finishing a '49 Ford coupe I have going. Oh well, I guess that one's for early 2015... Thanx so very much once again everyone,And A Very Happy New Year To You All, B.
carrucha Posted January 3, 2015 Posted January 3, 2015 Sweet little hot rod. Good choice of color, interior and wheels/tires.
bogger44 Posted January 4, 2015 Posted January 4, 2015 Wow that is sweet! Great work Bernard, congrats.
Jantrix Posted January 7, 2015 Posted January 7, 2015 Great work. It looks very authentic. The diamond pleat interior is a real nice touch.
Tom Geiger Posted January 8, 2015 Posted January 8, 2015 Nice little deuce and just under the wire to be the last build of 2014!
Monty Posted January 8, 2015 Posted January 8, 2015 Enjoy the accolades, sir. You've earned them. The paint color alone was enough to make me stop and look, but the modifications and precision assembly work made me stay.
Speedfreak Posted January 9, 2015 Posted January 9, 2015 Beautiful vision you had for this car Bernard.
Bernard Kron Posted January 19, 2015 Author Posted January 19, 2015 Thank you for the nice comments. It's hardly flawless but I can say that it did come out much as I had envisioned it which I must admit is source of some satisfaction.
Bernard Kron Posted July 20, 2017 Author Posted July 20, 2017 Broken Photobucket links repaired. For now I'm only updating completed model pics. Updating w.i.p. links is just too huge a task! I'll update them on request...
