tbill Posted March 30, 2015 Author Posted March 30, 2015 thanks guys Dan, ya, I just set the ramps up there to get them off the table at that point in time, they will go underneath afterward.
Tesla Posted March 30, 2015 Posted March 30, 2015 (edited) Tom the trailer looks great and I can't wait to see it with a load Edited March 30, 2015 by Tesla
gatorincebu Posted March 30, 2015 Posted March 30, 2015 The trailer is progressing nicely. This should make a good looking rig and load! be Well Gator
slusher Posted March 31, 2015 Posted March 31, 2015 Impressive progress Tom, the trailer looks great and your close now.
tbill Posted April 6, 2015 Author Posted April 6, 2015 thanks have had some family stuff going on, so work has been limited, but I have half the lines run, fronts are done working on the rear lines, not sure how much bench time I will have in the coming weeks, but I will keep plugging away when I can, stay tuned........
Petetrucker07 Posted April 6, 2015 Posted April 6, 2015 Very nice Tom. Keeps getting better with every update.
Mopar - D Posted April 7, 2015 Posted April 7, 2015 Tom just keeps getting better and closer to the finish. When I was installing my hoses I ended up adding some wire in the lines that had the tight bends to get the lines to keep there shape.
tbill Posted April 11, 2015 Author Posted April 11, 2015 thanks guys Dan, I did use some wire on one line to get it where I wanted, I don't know why I didn't use wire to make some of the 'curves' smaller/tighter going into the rams. more knowledge for the next one I suppose, lol. I plan to spend some time at the bench tomorrow morning [i need it for stress relief/therapy], so stay tuned for some pic's at some point tomorrow.....
Goodwrench3 Posted April 12, 2015 Posted April 12, 2015 here is sundays update, interior is pretty well done, going to use the closed curtain once it's in the truck, let's face it, the bunk detail is minimal and you can't really see any of it once in the cab, so, curtain it will be. I also got the tanks painted in alclad along with the air intake tube. I think once buffed out a bit, the tanks will look quite good [i hope]. interior, and I started 'phase three' that bit of the trailer is now in color and drying, I like it so far. thanks for following along, stay tuned for more.......... Geez... Cany I borrow your eyes and steady hand for the dash in my Freghtliner ??!!!!!
tbill Posted April 12, 2015 Author Posted April 12, 2015 ok, picture time it's not done, but close. I just need to do some touch up here and there, and make some decals for the sign boards that go on the side of the front of the trailer. I decided to put some cars on it and see how we look........
Superpeterbilt Posted April 12, 2015 Posted April 12, 2015 Excellent work Tom. That sure is a nice load of American muscle.
Mopar - D Posted April 12, 2015 Posted April 12, 2015 Tom looks awesome with your Camaros loaded on it.
gatorincebu Posted April 13, 2015 Posted April 13, 2015 Tom, I think you have nailed it!! The trailer and cars look great. Be Well Gator
Kostas Parchas Posted April 13, 2015 Posted April 13, 2015 Wel done so far, looking to see the final result. Kostas.
tbill Posted April 13, 2015 Author Posted April 13, 2015 thanks all as soon as time allows, the titan will be back on the bench to get finished off, hopefully I can wrap this project up before the 6 month mark
kilrathy10 Posted April 15, 2015 Posted April 15, 2015 (edited) Oh, yeah....That thing looks great.....All those Camaros make it look just too cool.....Oh, and Man....That guy you got by the trailer gets around....I saw him lurking around my DR just this morning....LOL Edited April 15, 2015 by kilrathy10
tbill Posted April 20, 2015 Author Posted April 20, 2015 so, I am at a bit of a standstill on this, I need some decals for the titan cab before I can clear it again, once I get/make those I can pretty much finish this up. all the major parts are pretty much painted/assembled/ready for assembly, just need to figure out the few decals...............
