atomicholiday Posted January 14, 2015 Posted January 14, 2015 Here's another project that I built long ago in a galaxy far, far away. '65 corvette built from the Monogram 'Black Rat' Street Machine kit. As I recall, this was one of the first kits I used BMF on. I think this was done with rattle-can Testors Silver with clear coat airbrushed on. Rims were parts box items. Looking at it now, I can see a few things I would do different (a little black wash here & there, hood could fit a little better, etc.), but all in all, I'm still pretty pleased with the way it turned out. Enjoy! This is the kit I built it from:

bbowser Posted January 14, 2015 Posted January 14, 2015 I love it! My dad had a '66 daily driver for many years, you nailed it.

atomicholiday Posted January 15, 2015 Author Posted January 15, 2015 very sweet!! wonder how hard it would be on that kit to open up the headlamp buckets.......?? That's a trickier mod than I'm ready to tackle, but I'd love to see it done. Never seen a model of this body style with the lights open/on. Anybody up for it?
