Ira Posted March 22, 2015 Author Posted March 22, 2015 Blackout! I decided to add some Metal Mesh to the front & Rear Vents. I started by Flattening the Detail in the Front Vents with a Dremel Tool. I wish I had done this before I painted the Body, because the Dremel Bit snagged and started to move towards the outside of the Body. Fortunately I stopped it before it caused any serious damage, just scratched the paint a little and knocked one Engine out. I'll glue the Engine back in & touch it up the scratches later. Notice I glued the Cylon Raider Grill in the Corvette Grill Opening. Here are the Rear Vents painted Flat Black. Here are the Front Vents painted Flat Black. More Coming...
Ira Posted March 23, 2015 Author Posted March 23, 2015 what do you mean detailing coming later, surely you can't get more detail on it, it's just outstanding what a build. Thanks Kenneth! Yeah, I will be adding Fuel Lines and 4 Vents...

Ira Posted March 23, 2015 Author Posted March 23, 2015 Brass Mesh! I found this Metal Mesh in an Art Supply Store. I think it will go well with the Purplelisious Paint. First I cut off some Brass Mesh so it will be easier to work with. Then I started to make File Card Templates to fit in the Vents. Next I held the Templates on to the Mesh and cut them to size.
