atomicholiday Posted February 4, 2015 Posted February 4, 2015 Nice looking build. Very clean. Love those Mustang II's.
JTalmage Posted February 4, 2015 Posted February 4, 2015 Thats beautiful! I would like to add that the door handles are chrome, and the gas cap is chrome w/ a black handle. But a gorgeous build nonetheless!
Guest Posted February 4, 2015 Posted February 4, 2015 Nice. Love the color. Wheels, not so much, but very well done.
Greg Pugh Posted February 5, 2015 Posted February 5, 2015 Very clean! I love everything about it except those goofy lookin' knobby tires. I don't know why they made them like that back in the day.
YBlock292 Posted February 5, 2015 Author Posted February 5, 2015 Thank You guys! Since this was a vintage Matchbox/AMT - model kit, I think the tire & wheel Combo represented what People thought back in the late 70s, when this kit was released, what a car like this Little Mustang should have to look good. I built this kit straight out of the box and took the wheels & tires that very included even if they did not represent my "gusto". Ludwig
The Modeling Hermit Posted February 5, 2015 Posted February 5, 2015 (edited) Nice ride. The 74-77 Mustangs got a bum rap. Unfortunately I was one who helped that. Now I think they were really cool cars. I wish I could find a model of the notchback version.. I'd paint it yellow with a black interior like a friend of mine had. geemoney Posted February 5, 2015 Posted February 5, 2015 i had a black V8 notch I could not GIVE away!
Bob Ellis Posted February 5, 2015 Posted February 5, 2015 I had a '76 Cobra II with the 2.8L V6 and 4spd. After I advanced the timing, it ran pretty well.
