Mike Posted February 9, 2008 Posted February 9, 2008 This one was drug out. First, the clear sprue got lost for the entire kit. I still don't know what I, or my kids possibly, did with it. Then I broke my hand and that put the building on hold until it healed. Anyway, I got it completed, and now have to find the master cylinder and fluid container that flew out on to the floor upon final assembly....
ismaelg Posted February 9, 2008 Posted February 9, 2008 Mike, That turned out really nice. Glad you kept going despite the setbacks. The headlights are very cool. I always liked those cars... Thanks,
Jason Rothgeb Posted February 13, 2008 Posted February 13, 2008 That looks great. Even though I'm a sucker for "lipstick red" the color you chose still adds a touch of European class versus American Flash to the build. I really had a thing for Porsches as a preteen, the 930, the 944, the 928. Your model really sparked those memories. Thanks for a trip down memory autobahn.
LVZ2881 Posted February 13, 2008 Posted February 13, 2008 turned out great Mike!! one of these days i'll get mine out and build it...
Mike Posted February 15, 2008 Author Posted February 15, 2008 Thank you for the kind words guys. They are very appreciated.
IMSANUT Posted September 16, 2012 Posted September 16, 2012 Very nice. I must get back to my conversion of a 944 Turbo into my 1983 normally aspirated 944 using Monogram 924 and Itelari Turbo parts............
cobraman Posted September 16, 2012 Posted September 16, 2012 Very nice. Always liked that body on the 944. Much better than the 924 imo.
sjordan2 Posted September 16, 2012 Posted September 16, 2012 Still looks good, 4-1/2 years after you posted this thread.

Foxer Posted September 17, 2012 Posted September 17, 2012 Very nice. I must get back to my conversion of a 944 Turbo into my 1983 normally aspirated 944 using Monogram 924 and Itelari Turbo parts............ You had an '83? .. thought '84 was the first 944 here or was it a European model? I did that conversion to normally aspirated on a build of the '87 I had.
