worldgpfan
Here is some work in progress pictures. I decided to go with a blown supercharged engine. Don't believe it's as accurate as it could be, but i like it. Still need to work the exhaust through the front fenders. 665@213
That looks right good, Anthony! Reminds me of Dwayne Wolfe's Pro Mod Firebird.

worldgpfan
Here are the first pictures of the paint which was started yesterday. I went with a light gun metal front end, the rear will be metallic blue. You can also see the exhaust peeking out from the bottom of the fenders. Sorry the pictures are not the best. GoatGuy
Looks really good. Not sure what you did to the tires, but they look like real rubber. Did you lightly sand them or spray on a Dullcote?
worldgpfan
Yes, first I do a light sand, apply a gloss cote, the tire decals then a black wash to the letters (to look a little worn) and then finally a dull cote. It does create a good effect.

worldgpfan
Latest picture, adding the decals slowly on this one. I'm still waiting for some to arrive in the mail. Anyway here is the first look. It's not exactly the look I was going for, some of the original decals broke apart, so I improvised with what extra decals I had. worldgpfan
Well thanks for all the good comments. Unfortunately I was not very happy with the way the decals turned out, so I changed them. I feel better about the way it turned out this time. The next thing is to do the interior and the final touches to the exterior.
